Childhood friends Andrew Matthews (vocals, bass) and Chris Anglin (guitar, synths/sampler) spent a hell of a lot of time listening to records and misspending youth on the west coast before they met east coaster Morgan Zwicker (drums) in Montréal on Kijiji - where any self respecting story starts. The three quickly found that they had more in common than just being incredibly broke and incredibly good looking.
SKELETON CLUB's music is sometimes heavy, sometimes soft - it is Rock / Experimental Pop featuring sincere writing, innovative production, & high energy live performances. Their debut self-produced LP ‘DEATH, LOVE, & MONEY’ presents 11 "intriguing, infectious and inventive" (Tinnitist) tracks. The album has earned praise as an "auditory odyssey" (The East Magazine) created by artists who are "unperturbed with trends and concocting timeless and utterly brilliant tracks" (Barry Gruff).
